Face The Music Tour

posted on June 26th, 2009 - Filed in Uncategorized - 1 comment »
Hey everyone…I’m enjoying some time off with my family.  Yesterday was the last day of school and my kids are ready for the summer.  On Wednesday I participated in the SIRIUS Face the Music Tour Media Challenge at Harbour Front Centre.  They tested our knowledge of artists and song titles from a wide variety of music genres, from the 1960s to today. I had some pretty serious competition.  I played against Jim Slotek from the Toronto Sun.  I knew Kenny Rogers and Belinda Carlisle but got stuck on some of the Independent Canadian Artists and Top 40.  Shame on me.

As of today, anyone can play the new SIRIUS Face the Music Tour game online by visiting www.facethemusictour.com. The player that has the highest score (at the end of the summer) will win an ultimate concert experience in LA or New York.

Have a Safe & Happy Weekend
See you Monday

MJ TRIBUTE

We broke the Friday BT DINER CHAT format to salute and pay tribute to one of the greatest entertainers of all time. And as you can see….we decided to break out of the somber mood of the last few hours and leave the week on a high note….he was after all, one who created magic on stage with his signature dance moves, leaving all who watched in awe……who knew that our very own Kevin Frankish would trump us with his daring impression….yes, it’s Kevin Frankish like you’ve never seen him before….if there is one thing to remember, it’s that life is too short…we need to live each day like it’s our last…Michael Jackson…rest in peace.

Walk to End Breast Cancer

posted on June 23rd, 2009 - Filed in Uncategorized - No comments »

Hi all,

This fall I will be participating in the Walk to End Breast Cancer. As many of you know I have a personal connection to Cancer as my brother passed away with the terminal illness over 11 years ago. My brother’s Cancer was not Breast Cancer however I have a personal goal of raising awareness towards any Cancers and at the same time raising a little money helps. Below is a link to my donations page. In order to participate I must raise $1250 by September but I’m hoping for more. If you can spare a few bucks please click and donate…and thank you!!

I will also be auctioning off advertising space on my forehead (it’s the size of a billboard) …stay tuned for more details coming up!! – Seriously!!
