Another busy weekend….Kevin and I were once again honoured to host the 23rd annual Teddy Bear Affair. The theme? Big Band Swing. The cause…Children’s Aid Foundation.
The talent? Matt Dusk (what a nice guy and a huge fan of the show….thanks for watching Matt! We hope to have you on as soon as your schedule calms down a bit).
As usual, the night was filled with outstanding music, food, silent and LIVE auction items…tons of volunteers and yes….generous angels who managed to raise over 1 million dollars throughout the course of the night.
Thank-you to the thousands who attended and volunteered to make it another smashing success!
Special thanks and shout outs go out to my clothing sponsor Mary DiPede from Mijaneaux (your ball gown was a HUGE HIT!), to Danielle Williams from Salon Escape who sculpted swingin’ sexy hair and CityTV’s brilliant make-up artist Tracy Peart who managed to paint on old Hollywood glam and transform me with her brush strokes.
What a blast….also happening this weekend?….tons of hair-raising events with our beautiful and talented staff who had their time in the spotlight….Josie Dizon and April Kalloo put their photogenic faces and gorgeous tresses to great use for various fashion hair events around town!

the ’60s chic looks good on april (which tells me, maybe you guys can have a retro-themed BT show sometime)…and josie looks fierce in her shots! niiiiice.

I had a great time at Fiorio Day! It was a lot of fun walking the cat walk!
