Avasta washes her families clothes once a month at the water source closest to her village. The water is filthy and diseased. It’s also the drinking water for everyone in the area. Click the Play Button to hear her story.
After this video was taken Avasta told us that her baby was extremely sick because of the water and she couldn’t get to a hospital until she finished the laundry. He had Diarrhea for days with blood. He was moaning and looked very ill as she was working.…Click the Play Button below.
World Vision immediately took her and her baby to get medical attention and paid for the medication. I would hate to think what would have happened if we weren’t there. Thanks Goodness
Take Care

But wonder why all these TV people go abroad to help all these people, when our Native people in our very country, are not given the time of day. Was driving to Grand bend during the summer holidays, and the native settlement on that road is in tatters. Where are these TV icons who can make a difference in their lives, but instead choose to go abroad and blog about it.
I’m not saying these people abroad should not be helped.
Charity begins at home.
Such a sad state of affairs.
