Caesar Salad Recipe:
1/2 head Romaine Lettuce
1 Anchovy
1 Egg Yolk
3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Squeeze of Lemon
1 Dash Tabasco
1 Dash Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp Red Wine Vinegar
1 tsp Sea Salt
Bacon/Croutons/Cheese to taste
1 Anchovy
1 Egg Yolk
3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Squeeze of Lemon
1 Dash Tabasco
1 Dash Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp Red Wine Vinegar
1 tsp Sea Salt
Bacon/Croutons/Cheese to taste
1. In large wooden bowl mince salt, garlic and anchovy with a fork.
2. Separate 1 egg (discard the white) add yolk to mixing bowl add stir for 2 minutes
3. Slowly drizzle in Olive Oil until thick
4. Add Lemon. Red Wine Vinegar. Tabasco add Worcestershire
5. Dress croutons and cheese
6. Add Romaine and toss until covered
7. Top with Bacon and Cheese
8. Serve

I missed the show, but my husband mentioned about this recipe. I am something of a garlic freak and cannot believe that a caesar salad dressing recipe has no garlic in it? It sounds good as is, but I would be inclined to add a whole small head of garlic. Food is my avocation in retirement and Newfoundland dogs are my love.
March 26th, 2009 at 2:32 pmJust wanted to comment that even though the garlic is not in the list of ingredients, it is in the directions, and I believe he used 1 clove in the video demonstration.
I will definitely be trying this recipe.
